About Me

I have over 15 years of experience in the Optical industry and qualified as a Dispensing Optician in 2021, achieving a 2:1 in BSc (Hons) Ophthalmic Dispensing from Canterbury Christ Church University. I also hold the prestigious Fellowship of the British Dispensing Opticians (FBDO) through ABDO College.

One of my proudest achievements was sitting my Contact Lens Exam just six weeks after the birth of my son—and earning a Distinction. This reflects my dedication, resilience, and passion for helping patients achieve the best vision and eye care possible.

Throughout my career, I have worked in many practices across Dorset and Hampshire. When the previous director of Parkstone Eyecare announced his retirement, I was thrilled to take the opportunity to become a part-owner of the practice in my hometown. In fact, my very first experience visiting an optician was at this very practice—then known as Claphams—when my sister, aged five, needed her first pair of glasses.

I feel very privileged to remain in Parkstone, where I was born and raised, and to serve the local community. When you visit Parkstone Eyecare, you won’t be treated as just a number—you’ll be treated like one of our family members, receiving professional, personalised care tailored to you.
